I'm not going to lie here... I'm going to totally take advantage of this assignment. I've been putting off doing an online portfolio update for the longest time. Basically, I'm going to take the layout I've built here, get the ball rolling for this assignment, and ultimately keep working at it in order to update my porfolio.

This assignment is a little more than nostalgic for me. All of these processes I've used here were absolutely necessary when I began hand-coding my websites back in the late 1990's. As much as I love the seemingly limitless boundaries of CSS, I've always found a sort of aesthetic beauty inherent in the simpicity of HTML. That said, I don't I have ever been able to fully exercise the language's potential.

After working so long with CSS it is very nice to get back to this simple language again.

Design. For the last ten years, Michael Ambrose has created web and print design work for a wide range of clients. Running the gamut from full websites and layouts to concert posters and album artwork, Michael's clients range from the New York Yankees to Epitaph recording artists The Slackers.

Photography. Competent in both traditional SLR and digital SLR techniques and processes, Michael's work has been used by clients ranging from performing artists to corperations such as Guitar Center. Whether photographing a band in concert or creating stock photography in a studio, Michael continually produces high-quality work.

Music. Music has been an outright massive portion of Michael's life since the age of six when he began classical piano instruction.
